crap dude, thats such a nice looking guitar. You really have to start making odd colored ones too, that'd be super sweet.

Believe me, if I had the money and time to build them, I would. --Jason

Thanks. I made stencils for the logo and f-holes, then painted them before I clear coated everything. --Jason

That's a great looking guitar Jason. You did a fantastic job on it. As a matter of fact, it inspired me to get my 2nd PGM301 refinished. I'll post some pics of it here when I get it back in 6-8 weeks.

Mine's better. Reverse headstock, and direct mount pickups. I guess if Paul was interested in upgrading, I would consider trading mine for his though. :P --Jason

Man that is very, VERY nice!

Are you the guy that snatched up that reverse headstock, pearl inlay ibanez neck that was on ebay the other week? (that thing was beautiful and expensive) if not, where did you get the neck? I've been looking to make my own custom RG for a while and cannot find reverse headstock ibanez necks ANYWHERE.

No spray cans. I've got my own spray gun and other paint equipment. The paint and clear coat are Dupont brand, chromabase and chromaclear. They're automotive grade, two part urethanes. I didn't use a traditional primer. After I sealed the body, I gave it a base coat of white, then orange. I used a silver base coat under the blue f-holes. Any automotive or body shop supply house that mixes paint can set you up.

No, it wasn't me. (I did look at that neck, but it was too pricey for me.) I did buy mine off ebay, but it was almost two months ago. I know what you mean about not being able to find reverse headstock Ibanez necks though. I looked for almost a year before I found mine. I was being pretty picky though. I wanted zero fret wear, reverse headstock, fully bound with sharkstooth inlay, and most importantly, it had to be MIJ. They do come up for sale, you've just got to be patient, and be ready to pull the trigger when one pops up. ---Jason

Ah okay, well i have my own spray gun to at home, so i was just wondering if i can use the same paint that go for metal and cars and stuff and paint it on the guitar, its wierd how you can get a piece of wood as colorfull as a carpaint.
